Hey... it's in the bag !

Sean Street has had a varied work history during his career and has recently embarked on his latest journey by starting his own marketing business here in Caboolture.

Sean started out in the computer industry and in the 14 years he spent working with computers, he has worked as a technician for several years, as a help desk support person and a computer operator in the Queensland public service, as a computer programmer in Townsville for 2 years and finally as a self employed computer consultant for the final 5 years. After all that time in the computer business, Sean decided that enough was enough and started to look for an alternative occupation. This search lead Sean to find work as a life insurance agent and financial adviser for the past 3 years. However, spending the last 12 months as an employed financial adviser and travelling to Brisbane for work every day convinced Sean that it was time to be self employed again and get some of his time freedom back again.

As a result of this decision, Sean has started operating his own marketing business. Sean has located four excellent and unique products which he is marketing and has more to come.

Sean’s main strength in business is customer service and he prides himself on the fact that when he was self employed as a computer consultant in Townsville, all of his new business came via referrals from his existing clients. Sean believes that regular referrals come from customers who are more than just satisfied and he strives to create that feeling with every customer he has.

Married to Janelle with four young children, Sean’s family is another major reason for his decision to become self employed again. The time spent on the train travelling to work in Brisbane and back every day was taking too much time away from his family.

Sean is a new member of the Caboolture Business Enterprise Centre and is a regular at the twice monthly meetings of Caboolture Toastmasters Club, something that he enjoys very much. Sean is interested in joining a local Rotary or other service club, the Caboolture and Bribie Island Chambers of Commerce. He believes that personal networking is the best way to good business.
